Invest In The Business, Not The Product

A lot of entrepreneurs think that because they have great product, they have a winning business. Sorry sports fans, that's not enough. A great product doesn't mean a great business. You can have the best product in the world, but if you don't know how to manage the business operations, your people and you don't know how to sell it, you are not going to succeed. It's the same when you invest in business or evaluate ideas. Don't focus just on the product, look at the people, at the strategy, at the financials. Professional investors invest in good businesses, not good products. There are many products that totally suck, but they are on the market and people are buying them. The businesses are crushing it while better products in the same categories die. Don't get it wrong, it is always better to have a good product instead of bad, but that alone doesn't make the business good enough.

The Shark Tank - Best Business TV Shows Series

We are tarting a new stream of presenting the best business and financial TV shows that can educate people a little bit.
For the last couple of weeks I've watched all the episodes of the popular ABC TV program called The Shark Tank. Basically it's a show where entrepreneurs are seeking capital from wealthy venture capitalists.
The economy is tight, banks are not lending money and raising capital is very difficult.
As you know raising capital is one of the top things businesses need.
This show is entertaining and educative. The original is the Canadian show The Dragons Den which is also great to watch. You see a lot of ideas, a lot of products a lot of people. You see negotiations, made deals, ruined deals.
Basically this show is the business version of American Idol, but no fan votes, and that's why it's a lot better.
It's real business, real entrepreneurs and investors, real money.
Each episode 5 investors are looking for deals.
You have to watch it.

Why You Have To Be Rich

Hi... A lot of people want to be rich, no doubt about it. But for a lot of them who are not rich yet, being rich is a bad thing. How is that possible?

A lot of poop people think all rich people are bad and being rich is bad. At the same time they want to be rich too while saying for themselves how great people they are.
This is so stupid.

Being good or bad person is not determined by the amount of money you have. There are bad rich people as well as good rich people, it's the same for the poor.

Actually if you are a good person, you must want to be rich and you must try to become rich. Because if you are rich, you can help to a lot more people and contribute more.

For example, I you own a big profitable business, you create jobs and goods for those who need them. You can give more for charity, you can support talented people.

That is why you have to be rich, you have a lot more opportunity to be significant and in help.
Don't you want to provide more to your family and yourself?

Don't be ignorant and chose to be rich.

After Xmas shopping - Poor people mentality

This morning, hundreds of thousands of people got up at 4 A.M., 5 A.M. or 6 A.M. and went to wait in lines outside malls and stores, to be first in for the big after-Christmas, 1-day sales. If you were amongst 'em, I apologize for offending, but I find this hilarious. Most of these folks would scream bloody murder if asked to get up at 4 A.M. to study or work, and get in a few extra hours of self or business improvement. But lining up in winter drizzle and bitter cold temperatures outside Kohl's, happy to be there. If aliens arrived at 5 A.M. at the shopping center today looking for intelligent life on earth, they hustled right back outta here faster than you can say U.F.O.

.........

This is the beginning of an email I got from Dan Kennedy yesterday. He is a great business and marketing guy and his statement really illustrates the stupidity of the masses.
While everyone is complaining about how bad the economy is (and it is), most people are doing only stupidities.

It all starts in your mind!

We all know it is a tough financial period, and yes it's not your fault but this should not be an excuse for you. In fact many people are going to be exactly the same during economic growth.

In order to be successful you have to delete this poor person mentality.
Don't get it wrong, discounts are a great thing, but it's a shame that people would do crazy things for almost nothing and stay passive when it's important to act.

Good job to the stores btw...
